Home Grown Rock
As you may well have noticed, we have been featuring unsigned British bands on behalf of a new organisation under the name of Home Grown Rock. Set up by 2 rock & roll enthusiasts, Lisa and Lisa are investing their spare time into promoting those great underground bands for no profit.

With a residency arranged at the legendary 100 Club, they have arranged several line ups of the best the British have to offer. The first taking place on the 11th of August showcasing 5 brilliant, bluesy groups.
We have put together a little playlist of all those bands, check them out, and then get your tickets!
Introducing…Dollface!
Next up in our Home Grown Rock features are trio Dollface. A band of few words biography wise, they let their music do the talking, and rightly so. Realising that English music in the mainstream is being over taken by indie, they have made it their mission to bring back rock n roll to the masses!

A mixture of snappy drums, quirky guitars and punk style British vocals, Dollface have you instantly hooked and wanting more. You To Lose has elements of The Cult, especially in the guitar tones but with Joe Strummer type vocals over the top.
Using the line ‘catchier than chicken pox,’ head over to the Facebook page to hear their latest offerings. And of course, don’t forget they are at the Home Grown Rock night on the 11th of August. Get involved!
