Pursuing the prog rock route, LA group Ancestors add a dash of doom metal into their sound, blurring creative boundaries. Their music has classical flare, melodic riffs and pounding bass lines, quite the experimental mix.

The Swedish quartet have returned to studio and brought us a new song named We Don’t Need A Cure.

Opening with a a chanting chorus before some powerful chords and the familiar raw vocal of Jocke Berg, the track is certainly catchy. If you aren’t convinced on first listen, I’d definitely say it is worth giving another chance!
